I’m Vicky and I’m currently living in Scunthorpe, United Kingdom. I was born in Inverness back in May 1985 and because I’ve moved around to various different places, I don’t have a Scottish accent so call me English at your own peril! I’m an only child and I don’t see myself as your average mid 20′s sorta girl. I have blue eyes and naturally dark brown hair which I prefer to dye purple. You will never see my wear a skirt or a dress because I’m a tom boy. My clothes of choice are baggy/flared/boyfriend jeans and hoodies. I also love wearing Airwalk trainers because they’re so freakin’ comfy.
I’m very obnoxious and I have a tendency to speak my mind which usually has me in trouble for offending people. Some people just can’t stomach the fact that I tell it as it is and just brand me a bitch without even getting to know me – if you’re one of these then, PLEASE, get to know me before you make judgement! Surely you’d prefer someone to be honest with you than sugar coat it and allow you to believe that everything is always butterflies and rainbows.
I am a very caring and considerate person but sometimes I choose not to show that side of me, because I have been stitched up and stabbed in the back numerous times in the past and I will not allow myself to be hurt again. I can be very sarcastic when I want to be, and alot of the time my sarcasm comes with an extra large helping of mean-ness. If you are one of my friends or family members then you’ll know that I am loyal and I will move mountains for you, get on the wrong side of me and I drop those mountains on your head.
My life would not be complete without my horses and gerbils. They make life worth living and give me an excuse to get out of bed and face the world. My boyfriend George helps keep my world turning with his sarcasm and humour and although he drives me crazy mad, I wouldn’t swap him for anything. He’s also an absolute star for putting up with my constant violent mood swings when most would just walk away. We have been together since 15th December 2007 and have had our fair shares of ups and downs. We’re (un)officially engaged but there are no set plans to tie the knot just yet.
As I’m an only child my parent’s mean everything to me. They’re always there to bail me out of the many shitty situations I manage to get myself into – and trust me! I’ve been in quite a few over the years.
I absolutely adore music. I love it so much that I’m usually found with my iPod headphones in my ears and people screaming in my face because they’re trying to talk to me and I can’t hear them. I’ll listen to most things, except for pop. Make me listen to pop and you’ll end up having my claw your eye balls out of their sockets! My favourite kinds of music are indie, rock, aggrotech, ebm, electro industrial, industrial metal, dark electro and punk-pop.
I love watching anything that makes me laugh. I absolutely adore The Inbetweeners, Family Guy, Rab C Nesbitt, Mrs Brown’s Boys and Still Game. I also like horse related movies and have a vast collection on my book shelf. My favourite being Seabiscuit followed closely by War Horse. When I have nothing else to do or I’ve become bored of staring at my netbook’s screen, I like to curl up in bed and read on a book on my iPhone.
I’m an absolute sucker for Irn Bru and could quite happily drink it til it’s coming out of my ears. My ideal daily diet would be a slice roll with lashings of ketchup for my breakfast followed later in the day by 2 Scotch pies, cheesy totties and enough oxo to drown it all in for my tea.
I love playing video games on both the Playsation 3 and xbox360. I’m into RPG and car racing games. My favourite games are Blur, LittleBigPlanet, Fable (Both II and III), Assassin’s Creed, and Burnout Paradise. I also like to workout on the Wii with Wii Fit Plus and the balance board.
My best friend Marie is like my sister. We’ve been friends for over 20 years and although we live at opposite ends of the country and only see each other twice a year (we keep in touch by text and Facebook), we can still finish each other’s sentences and know exactly how the other feels. She is the only true friend I have offline.
I currently have one tattoo. A tribal horse head on the outside of my right ankle which my best friend’s husband did for me in August 2011. I never thought that I’d catch the tattoo bug but I have and I’ve already got planned what I want my next ones to be. I just haven’t decided where I want them.
You’re most likely to hear me say ‘If you can’t drive it then leave the f**king thing at home‘, ‘Fuck You‘, ‘Whatever‘ or ‘Bring it on if you think you’re f**kng hard enough!‘
