Judge Service
In the current economic climate, money is something of a worry for most people. I know myself that it’s an issue. Every week on a Wednesday night, I get paid around £220 and usually it’s been spent by Sunday afternoon either on luxuries for both George and I or it has been taken out via direct debit to pay for our iPhones, the HD tv or something else. Every week I have to fill my car up with petrol which isn’t cheap. I always wonder how much it would cost to fill up a car with a smaller engine than mine.
I have always said that if I ever won the lottery or came upon an expected gift of money (i.e more than £25,000) I would treat myself to another car. I’ve always dreamed of owning a Maserati Quattroporte. I would love to own a brand new one with all the funky gadgets or one from the 1970s. I’ve never really thought about where I’d get the older version from since they must be something of a rarity.
I know alot of people are trying to downgrade their car to something more economical and rather than buy a brand new car, they’re looking at buying one from a used car dealer. Speaking from the little bit of experience I’ve had with car dealers, you need to be totally careful where you choose to purchase. I started a job at a used car dealership but left after about 3 days because of what I saw. One guy went in to see what they would give him for his Volkswagen Golf. My bosses said they would give him £900 part exchange. This is what made me leave. I knew his car was worth at least £1500 and at the time I wasn’t even into cars as much as I am now. The people I worked with even went to one side and had a chat about how they could basically fuck this guy out of money. I think the guy decided to leave it.
If Judge Service had of been around at that time, he could have looked up to see what other people thought of that dealership and/or left a review for other people to read. Then the dealership might know what people really thought and tried to adjust their business to it. Needless to say that a couple of years ago that dealership ended up closing which I believe was due to bankruptcy. I’m pleased because not only did I witness them trying to rip customers off but I also found out that they had sold my Dad’s friend a car that was so dangerous it almost killed his children when they had an accident, but that’s another story, for another day
