Awesome News!

For the first time in a couple of months I am really happy and excited.

 

I had my interview on Thursday which wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. I’ve now got to wait for a letter telling me wether I was successful or not. I don’t think I’m gunna get one which is why I covered my ass and called the agencies on Friday morning. One told me to call back on Monday and the other told me to call back later in the day. I hadn’t even been off the phone for half an hour when I got a call asking me if I had my own transport and could I come in to the office to sign my contract and other niggly bits like that because they have work at a coffee factory which is down the road from where my Dad works. Obviously I jumped at the chance so I now have me a job and I start tomorrow. My hours at 7am til 5pm Monday to Friday but I was also told by someone else that it’s only 4 hours on a Friday but we’ll see. I also have the chance to be made permanent after 12 weeks so even if I don’t get the letter I’m waiting for, it works out good in the end anyway.

 

I really can’t wait to get myself back working and getting my old bank account stocked up again. It now means I don’t have to worry about having money for Christmas because I know now that I can afford to buy gifts. I already have in mind pretty much everything I want to buy. And if I have some money left over then I’m going to treat myself to something, I just don’t know what yet lol Maybe I’ll start saving a bit each week so I can buy myself that iMac I so badly want.

 

Me and my friend Sue went riding again yesterday morning and she brought her husband and one of her daughters with her. We took both horses out and I was expecting Vinnie to freak and go off his nut but he didn’t. He did spook himself and put in a mini buck which made Sue squeal but she stayed on. I think after we’ve been out a few more times, maybe after Christmas, he’ll be alright and we won’t need anyone to hold the lead rein so we’ll be able to go out together. I think once I get into the swing of my new job we’re gunna meet up and start looking at things for the horses. She is adamant about buying them stuff with this money. I told her she doesn’t need to now that I have a job and she said it doesn’t matter wether I had a job or not she was going to do it anyway. so yay I guess?
