The start of a new era

Well we finally did it. We’re finally in our new place yippee! I’m really enjoying this new place and having a blacony, because it means George no longer smokes in the house so it’s smoke free and I’m not coughing so much ^_^

It’s been a busy week for us and I still feel tired. Saturday and Sunday my parents and I were shifting our stuff into this new place then when George finished work we moved more stuff in. We still had quite a bit to shift at the end of Sunday night so after work on Monday we moved more stuff in. On Tuesday George stayed up all night and moved as much as he could in by himself. He did a good job and on Wednesday we had Mark help us move a bit more in. Yesterday we’d got it all moved in and we posted the keys through our old landlords business’ letterbox.

It’s nice to know that we dont have to deal with that idiot anymore and the landlord for this place works where we do so we always have contact with her if and when we need it. She seems nice enough and seems like she’ll sort any problems we have out. We don’t have to pay rent til the 15th because we paid 2 weeks upfront before we moved in.

This weekend is going to be fun, he’s decided not to work the weekend. Tomorrow we’re off ice skating with Claire and Danny then onto having a meal and probably back here to show them the place, or it might be before we go skating.

On Sunday I have to take Sean, and the two George’s to play airsoft, then we’re having a few of his mates over to play Call of Duty and Poker. It was suppose to be a day to spend together and I’m pissed he arranged this but nevermind. He’ll just have to make it up to me somehow lol

I’ve managed to find 2 wi-fi hot spots and I have got connected to one of them so I dont have to use my T-mobile usb to connect all the time. So I deicded to download some programs and install my web design stuff onto my netbook so that I can update the site and work on stuff when I’ve got time. I also found a spare mouse which is wireless yipee! so I dont have to use the touchpad on my netbook all the time. I think I’m going to buy a better one though because the pointer seems to be really juddery and not move smoothly but I dont know.

The next computer-y item I wanna buy is a new external hard drive because I have a 250GB one at the moment and I have 92GB left which will be gone in an instant when he gets his movies on it. I’m thinking I might get 1TB next, thats plenty of space lol.

I’m so friggen tired, I’m actually falling asleep. And wearing fleece pyjamas, wrapping myself in my snuggie and putting the heating on doesnt help. I’m lovely and warm and I could just lay down on this couch and nod off. So I think I best end it here
